Description

Johanna's dress for the next scene. I love this design. I decided I might as well show her framework since I've seen a lot of artists recently who obviously do NOT draw out a body before drawing things such as hair and clothing. It's so essential to understand the body first.

And boobs, people. Those are in a corset pushed up. They would look very different without the whale bone support.

Johanna <3.

You have no idea how glad I am too see someone harness the advantage of not only drawing the frame and gesture art BUT include it in with the finished piece.
You are right, that a lot of people just do not understand there are things that happen UNDERNEATH the surface, and just because you can't SEE it, doesn't mean it isn't there and it isn't influencing what you DO see.

It's always refreshing to see someone who understands that!

I'm not familiar with the current Sherlock Homes or Skylock Homes but I can give opinion on the concept here!

Fashion-wise, I think you did a wonderful job on the outfit. Looks to be authentic period clothing! Very nice silhouette and
colors as well. A lot of people tend to try a hand at Victorian styles but often neglect noticing the body shape created by the Victorian corset, and the dress' form itself. And not to mention the effect the corset has on the shape and form of the breasts.
So I'm also glad to see you took those things into account.

While dresses usually weren't that short(to cover ankles), it's good to see she's still presentable for that time period. Assuming she is from the time period and not just dressing in the style.

The only really negative thing I have to say about this, not knowing details into character and concept... is that her hands and arms seem awkward and boxy, while the rest of her is very graceful and flows.

But other than the posing, everything seems perf!
