BAAWWWW I miss RPing. Who here RPs, and what is your poison of choice? I remember back when Yahoo! allowed people to create their own chat rooms, and there was always many devoted to RP... and, yes, some very seedy ones. I saw every kind of RP cliche possible back then. This was maybe... 10, 12 years ago? It was so nice to log in and have no idea what to expect! OH, how I love improvising.

The last great RP I had was an original story about serial killers. I got to play detective and I LOVED it. But my partner was very reserved (especially for a gruesome killer). I kept thinking how much more creatively sadistic I could write him

I Role play both fantasy and Star Trek on Second life! unlike other online games, second life is a part of the social networks and not the gaming sites! I really not into the shoot-em ups, so SL is a god send for a RP like me!

I used to be a lot more into RP than I am now. Like you I began to think "Wow I would write that character so differently..." and it got to the point where I was more interested in writing my own stories than RPing out a story with others. I've got a few close RP partners left but most of my time is devoted to my novel now... Granted the inspirations for that novel were born from a long running RP with a close friend.

Seriously I think my hotmail was hacked or something because people kept getting spam "sent" from my hotmail. It happened twice in like 6 months and after that I gave up and am Gmail chat and AIM all the way.
