The doctor and the soldier.
In hindsight I totally regret drawing her military pose so stupidily 'cute girl'. She looks more brave in her finery :\.
Her first outfit is based on an 1871 afternoon dress. While I admit I am playing a little loose with the time frame of fashion in this adaptation (hell it's not even set in 1880s London, so I can do what I want) the general timezone for their threads is late 1880s. Watson's dress is an older design, as she has been rather busy, what with the 'Atghani' war service thing.
A cane is her constant companion thanks to her war wound (was it her leg, or her leg and shoulder?).
Second outfit is modified military attire from the Afghan campaigns, late 19th century. There was no way her bust would fit into the accurate uniform :\. And look, tanned!
